Mike Carr-Jones has worked in the EPC Oil & Gas sector for 27 years, including almost 10 years employed with HSP. As Sales Manager, he has played a key role in developing our relationships with EPC contractors, especially in the London market. Mike’s expertise and knowledge in the world of valves and projects and his EPC experience provides valuable insight to clients, especially for high-specification projects.
HSP Area Sales Manager Simon Richardson asked Mike about his experiences in the industry, along with some of the highlights from his long-standing career with HSP: “We are well-known for being a reliable partner to companies in the oil and gas sector,” Mike said. “Our expertise is backed up by relationships with world class manufacturers and a strong inside sales team, who are very knowledgeable and offer first-class support. At the same time, we are also very flexible when it comes to finding the right solution for our clients.”
“We always listen to requirements and strive to offer the best option available. The sales team is further supported by a skilled contracts department who are responsible for the execution of orders received at HSP.”
“The beauty of working for HSP Valves is not only that we deal with major projects in the oil and gas sector globally allowing the team to develop strong relationships with our clients, but also that our company offers continued personnel development opportunities to all employees.”
“The fact that HSP is growing quickly as a company adds to the excitement and rewards that come from being part of a business that is obviously going places.”
“As an industry, oil and gas is constantly evolving and changing and the EPC business in London is no exception, regularly going through cycles of activity reflective of the global marketplace. In response, at HSP, we are constantly seeking out these new opportunities where ever they may be in the world. Now that we are a part of a much larger organisation, we are able to follow these projects globally to support the needs of our clients.”
