HSP appoints a new General Manager for Aberdeen

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Roddy Philp to the position of HSP General Manager for Aberdeen. After nine years with HSP, Roddy has excellent knowledge of valves in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry and a comprehensive understanding of HSP’s systems.

During his time with the business, Roddy has established strong relationships with our clients and suppliers and directly contributed to our growth and success. He will now be responsible for all aspects of the HSP Valves Aberdeen business, from the people to the P&L.
Derrick MacKenzie, HSP Sales Director, commented: “I am delighted that Roddy has accepted the position of General Manager for our Aberdeen office and I am certain he will contribute a great deal in leading our Aberdeen team, overseeing key projects and driving our future progress and growth.”
Over the next 12 months, Roddy’s immediate focus will be on completing the move to HSP’s new 13,000 sq. ft. facility in the Altens area of Aberdeen. This Jamie May, Roddy Philp, Mike Gordon, Vernon Kinsey includes an integrated testing facility and workshop for actuation of valves. He will also be working to introduce our services to customers in the Aberdeen and Scottish Central belt.

Roddy will be working closely with our newly-appointed Operations Manager, Vernon Kinsey, as well as External Sales Manager Jamie May, and our new Senior Sales Engineer, Mike Gordon.
